The ER collet is designed with precision slots and a sealing ring structure to support peripheral coolant supply and center-through coolant applications, improving cooling efficiency and chip evacuation during high-speed machining.
Suitable for clamping various cutting tools with coolant-through capability, the ER collet provides stable gripping performance and reliable machining accuracy in milling, drilling, reaming, and tapping operations.
With optimized ER collet clamping force and high sealing performance, the collet system can withstand coolant pressure up to 21 kgf/cm², making it suitable for demanding CNC machining environments.
Different ER collet types are available for specific clamping ranges and machining requirements. Unlike standard flexible collets, sealed ER collets have a fixed clamping capacity based on their maximum specified diameter to ensure higher rigidity and sealing performance.
